Patagonia – shared between Argentina and Chile – is a land of extreme charm and mystery that has captured the imagination of explorers and writers such as Chatwin, Coleridge, and Melville. This remote and wild place, stretching across about 900,000 square kilometers, offers a unique encounter with unspoiled nature. Traveling through Patagonia means discovering landscapes seemingly frozen in time, where endless plains shaped by relentless winds evoke the feeling of standing at the edge of the world.
The journey through Patagonia includes three unforgettable stops: the city of Ushuaia, known as the final frontier; the trails and mountains of Argentina’s Santa Cruz region; and the wild heart of Chile, including Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, Lake Llanquihue, and Chiloé Island. Every corner invites you to immerse yourself in the deep essence of Patagonia – an experience that goes beyond mere observation and demands to be lived fully.
Patagonia’s wildlife is unique, with species like the Patagonian fox, guanaco, Magellanic penguin, and the legendary Calafate bush, whose fruit is said to forge an eternal bond with this land. Divided into two distinct regions, the Andean Patagonia is marked by majestic peaks, glaciers, and turquoise lakes, while the extra-Andean Patagonia features vast plateaus, steppes, and semi-deserts stretching to the Atlantic Ocean.
This adventure allows you to experience the pure beauty of Patagonia—from glaciers to steppes and unique national parks with extraordinary flora and fauna. Patagonia invites you on an intense, unforgettable journey that will forever bind you to the magic of this unparalleled land.

DAY 4

Tierra del Fuego National Park

Morning dedicated to visiting the Tierra del Fuego National Park. When Magellan reached the southern tip of the American continent, the indigenous people were burning hundreds of fires on the coast. For this reason, the area now controlled by Argentina and Chile was named Tierra del Fuego (Land of Fire) in 1520. Here, marine currents and gusts of wind clash, but the territory was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005. On this legendary rock land albatrosses, cormorants, Andean condors, Dominican and austral gulls, skuas and ibises. The islands of Tierra del Fuego are unspoiled and lend themselves to all kinds of outdoor activities such as trekking, which you will have the opportunity to do in the following days. (bb). In the afternoon, boat excursion and navigation in the fascinating Beagle Channel. It doesn't happen every day to find yourself visiting what is defined as the southernmost city in the world; Ushuaia as the capital of the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego, as well as the most austral city in the world. You will have the opportunity to navigate the Beagle Channel, famous not only for its enchanting beauty but also for the massive presence of marine fauna, including the King Penguins.

DAY 5

El Calafate

n the morning after breakfast, flight to transfer to El Calafate; upon our arrival we will have a transfer that will take us to El Chaltén, in Los Glaciares National Park just over 200 km north of El Calafate, known as the climbers' paradise. Our base for the first and wonderful trekking. If time permits, we can also stop at La Leona. La Leona is a guesthouse, a coffee shop, a small museum and the perfect place to stretch your legs during a long journey through southern Patagonia. Legend has it that Cassidy and Longabaugh robbed the nearby Banco de Tarapacá y Argentino in Río Gallegos, just 350 km from La Leona. Fleeing with a sum that today would be worth at least $100,000, the couple disappeared northward through the Patagonian steppe and into one of the most surprisingly inhospitable landscapes in the world. Thinking that they did it on horseback, carrying with them everything necessary to survive, helps explain why, when they stumbled upon La Leona estancia, they were in no hurry to leave.

DAY 6

El Chalten

After breakfast, we set off for "Laguna de los Tres," one of El Chaltén's jewels. The trek will be circular and not simply an out-and-back route. After about an hour of relatively flat walking, we arrive at the first viewpoint (mirador), with the Piedras Blancas glacier just below Fitz Roy. From here to Laguna Los Tres, we must climb steadily for about 300 meters: the final landscape will reward us for the effort (18 km total of about 7/8 hours). In case the weather is not favorable, or if someone decides to shorten the trek, we could stop at Laguna Capri (10 km total round trip).

DAY 7

El Calafate

After breakfast, transfer to El Calafate, in the province of Santa Cruz, the mountainous part of the Andes on the border with Chile, vast plateaus and coastal area. This Argentine province is characterized worldwide for its beauty. One of those places where anyone traveling in Argentina sooner or later ends up. Free visit of the town.

DAY 8

Perito Moreno

After breakfast we are ready to visit the most famous glacier in the world. On this day, the Perito Moreno will be your main focus, including a nautical safari to admire the massive glacier within Los Glaciares National Park. During the safari, and not only, it will be extremely exciting to see and hear the large blocks of ice break off and fall into the water.

DAY 9

Torres del paine N.P. (Chile)

Morning tour from El Calafate to the Chilean border; from now on you will leave Argentina to move to Chile until the end of the trip. After completing customs procedures, direction Torres del Paine National Park with excursion until late afternoon. Torres del Paine National Park is undoubtedly one of the main world destinations for hiking and nature lovers. With its mountains, glaciers and scenic lakes, the Park offers many postcard-worthy panoramas as well as many hiking opportunities; the heart of the region consists of 4 elegant mountain massifs: Cuernos del Paine, Torres del Paine, Almirante Nieto and Paine Grande. With peaks between 2600 and 3000 meters above sea level, these mountains impress not so much for their altitude, but for the beauty and grandeur with which they tower from the surrounding plains. After the excursion, transfer to Puerto Natales and relaxation at the hotel.

DAY 10

Volo per Puerto Montt

Private transfer from Puerto Natales to Puerto Arenas for direct flight to Puerto Montt, where upon arrival we will take possession of the VAN that will allow us to do the tours in the coming days.
