Departure from Italy and arrival in the afternoon at Kuusamo airport. Transfer of about half an hour to Ruka with destination cottage; accommodation, dinner and overnight stay in shared double room.

A 4.3 km trail in Riisitunturi National Park, known for having some of the most beautiful sloping marshes in Europe. In winter, the spruce trees covering the hillsides are wrapped in a thick layer of condensed frost, creating a spectacular photogenic white forest. After reaching the top, we head to a cabin in the wilderness, where we will enjoy sandwiches, hot juice and cookies. After the break, we complete the rest of the trail back to the starting point. The excursion requires good basic physical condition.

An excellent opportunity to try two different and equally exciting means of transport; the excursion lasts 3 hours. First, you will drive a snowmobile through the snowy landscape. After a short while, you can already hear the impatient barking of the huskies ready to take you for a 5 km ride. Instructions will be provided on how to drive a sled and then do it on your own! Drivers can be changed halfway through the course. After the ride, snacks are enjoyed (sausages, hot drinks and pastries).

The program begins with putting on ice fishing clothing and moving by car near the fishing site. From the car we walk to the nearby lake, where the guide will tell you the secrets of ice fishing. After fishing, a fire will be lit in the camp and hot juice will be offered while listening to the silence of the lake and cooking the caught fish. At the end return to the lodge.

On this day we will take a long safari that will provide memorable emotions both at winter sunset and in sunlight. The exploration will take place in the wildest areas of Kuusamo up to the eastern Russian border.
The route consists of about 120 km by snowmobile, when we reach the border we will be guests at a lodge where before returning we will have the opportunity to have our lunch.

After getting equipped with the necessary gear, you will be accompanied to Oulanka National Park, known for its
landscapes and waterfalls. You will explore the national park with snowshoes and the guide will explain the characteristics of the local flora and fauna. Along the way you will admire the beautiful Myllykoski rapids
from above a suspension bridge. This trek involves a fairly challenging Extended type route.
In the evening we will have the opportunity to experience a traditional Finnish sauna and a bath in the frozen lake, after which a light dinner will be offered and we will wait for the magical northern lights.
